Notice of Carbon Monoxide Detector Installation

We are happy to announce that Housing Authority City of Elkhart has received a grant from HUD to further the safety of our residents by installing combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in all public housing homes that contain appliances powered by natural gas.

One traditional smoke detector in each qualifying home will be replaced with a new combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. This task will be completed by a licensed electrician and will only take a few moments.
